This German 21-centimetre Mörser howitzer could destroy trenches and protective dugouts up to 8,200 metres away. The steel 'shoes' attached to the wheels helped in crossing rough and muddy terrain when pulled. The 18th Canadian Infantry Battalion of London, Ontario captured this gun.
