Illuminating the Shadows: Discover Military History Through Light!

Shed some light on military history with light-themed activities! Join us to explore how light and shadow have shaped the Canadian Armed Forces throughout history. Visit engaging activity stations in the Lobby to experience the poignant act of writing home from the trenches, and make your own Morse code device. December 14, 2024 to January 5, 2025   Night Raid challenge Test your stealth skills through our Night Raid challenge in the Barney Danson Theatre. Can you find all the bean bags for your team as you navigate our obstacle terrain? Times: 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (English); 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (French). For ages 4 and up.

Public Tours

Join our regularly scheduled public tours for a closer look at the different chapters in Canadian military history. Our passionate team of program interpreters will lead groups of up to 15 people through our galleries and make these spaces, stories, and artifacts come to life.
