5. Deadline and Funding Amount
Applications must be submitted digitally through our online portal. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is September 29, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
A shortlist of five applicants will be notified by November 1, 2023. These five applications will be further assessed by an extended War Museum Evaluation Committee.
The successful artist will be notified by November 30, 2023.
Funding
$30,000 in total
- $15,000 Artist Fee
Payment Schedule:
Upon presentation of acceptable preliminary concept: $5,000
Upon approval of acceptable final concept: $5,000
Upon delivery to Museum of final accepted work: $5,000 - Up to $5,000 for materials, to be paid upon receipt and acceptance of the artist’s budget for materials.
- Up to $10,000 for travel, to be paid upon receipt and acceptance of the artist’s travel budget.
