Over the past year and a half — a period of great uncertainty — we have received many words of encouragement, expressions of support, and real generosity from a growing number of donors and supporters. We continue to be humbled by this outpouring of goodwill from every region in Canada.
Remarkable people like you — and organizations, community groups, small businesses and corporations — have truly stepped up to support our two Museums. This has helped ensure that our research projects, virtual school programs, special online events, exhibitions, and more have the resources they need to move forward.
We thank you for helping us meet the challenges in this moment, by making it possible for us to continue providing the highest quality programming with integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence to all Canadians.
I would also like to take this opportunity to tell you how much we miss our many guests and visitors from across the country and around the world. Our work is dedicated to you. We cherish your presence, and the experiences you bring to the Museums every day — together with your excitement, curiosity and knowledge.
During the coming months, via our website and social media channels, we will continue to bring you the many fascinating stories that the Canadian War Museum and the Canadian Museum of History have to tell.
