Dr. James V. Wright
James V. Wright joined the National Museum of Canada in 1960.
Throughout his career, during part of which he served as chief of
the Archaeological Survey of Canada, he was influential in the
training, encouragement and support of young archaeologists. He
also published many books and articles for general and scholarly
audiences. In 1991 he retired and was made a Curator Emeritus with
the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Dr. Wright received his
training at McMaster University, the University of Toronto, and
the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Dr. Roger Marois
Roger Marois was employed by the National Museum of Man
(subsequently the Canadian Museum of Civilization) from 1969-1992
as one of its archaeologists, and from 1989-1992 was head of the
Archaeological Survey of Canada there. Since retiring he has been a
Curator Emeritus of the museum. Dr. Marois was trained at the
University of Montréal and the University of Calgary.
