The Battle of the Atlantic

Britain was totally dependent on supplies shipped across the Atlantic. All through the war, the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force were critically important to the safety of the convoys that carried the supplies that enabled the allied forces to successfully invade western Europe and defeat Germany.
