Remembrance Day

Throughout November, we invite you to REMEMBER with us.

The Canadian War Museum is the ideal place to learn more about Canada’s military history and remember the service, sacrifice and loss of those who served.

Canada recognizes Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every November 11 at 11 a.m. The Day marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and is an opportunity to recall all those who have served in wartime.

How will you remember? Let us know on Facebook, Instagram or X. #RemembranceDay

Please return to this page on November 11 at 10:45 a.m. (EST) to view a livestream of the light shining through Memorial Hall at the Canadian War Museum.

On November 11, the Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission will be free, but a ticket is required. Book now.

The Gift Shop will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Café from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
