Certification that P.E. Terry completed courses in first-year mechanics and second-year geometry and calculus through the Khaki University of Canada. Some 50,000 soldiers took courses in the Khaki University system from 1917 to the 1919. Most took primary, elementary, or high school courses, but several hundred were accepted into universities such as Oxford, London, and Edinburgh. Henry Marshall Tory, the president of the University of Alberta, organized the program; his name is signed at the bottom of this certificate.
