Application by Edward, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, for membership into the Great War Veterans' Association of Canada. The Prince of Wales served in the British army during the First World War and was briefly attached to the Canadian Corps. He became King in January 1936, but within a year had abdicated his position to marry American Wallis Simpson.
