This poster advertised the need for men to serve in the Royal Naval Canadian Volunteer Reserve for the duration of the war. Naval recruiters divided Canada into nine recruiting districts, one in each province. There was also a recruiting campaign that moved across the country. Canada's wartime navy expanded rapidly in the war from a mere 350 sailors to over 5,000. The poster calls for "Men of Good Character and Physique."
