By 1918, the Canadian Corps had a larger and more robust engineering capacity in comparison to equivalent British forces. This meant they could rapidly repair damage to infrastructure and keep troops ands supplies moving. The Canadians' engineering strength increased the fighting effectiveness of the entire Corps.
