One hundred sixty members of the 2nd Canadian Stationary Hospital were issued the 1914 Star, which recognized early enlistment and participation in war, from 5 August to 22 November 1914. This medal set belonged to Nursing Sister Yvonne Doucet. It bears a rosette on the uniform ribbon, denoting her entitlement to the medal and her service within the range of enemy artillery.
