Armourers work in a mobile shop near a light rail line repairing rifles and Lewis machine-guns. Each infantry battalion had several armourers to keep small-arms and machine-guns in working order. Considered essential personnel, armourers were stationed at headquarters and rarely went into the front lines to fight.
