Squadron Commander Raymond Collishaw speaks with fellow air ace Arthur Whealy (seated in plane). Whealy shot down 27 enemy planes, while Collishaw was one of the leading fighter pilots of the war with 60 victories. Collishaw is wearing his naval air force uniform, as he flew for much of the war with the Royal Naval Air Service, amalgamated with the Royal Flying Corps to form the Royal Air Force on 1 April 1918.
