Canadian soldiers walk the streets of Kinmel, inspecting damage following the riots in March 1919. Between 1918 and 1919, there were 13 incidents of unrest at repatriation camps overseas. Kinmel Park was the worst, resulting in five deaths. Many stores were destroyed by soldiers' frustration over high prices and shoddy goods.
