Vehicle access to Canadian War Museum restricted on October 7
Ottawa, Ontario, October 6, 2006 — Vehicle access to the Canadian War Museum will be restricted on the afternoon of Saturday, October 7 during Athletics Canada’s Run with the Champions 10K event.The Ottawa River Parkway will be closed to all vehicles between Booth Street and Parkdale Avenue between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Traffic will be diverted through Scott Street.
Vehicles will be able to access the Canadian War Museum via Booth Street during the race.
Visitors are invited to participate in a Make a Medallion workshop and discover heraldry and symbols present in medals and medallions, presented as part of the very popular exhibition, Clash of Empires: The War that Made Canada 1754-1763.
