Lifelong Learners at the Canadian War Museum

The program will present museological techniques in addition to preservation and conservation methods in use at the Canadian War Museum.

In the morning, participants will receive a tour of the War Museum’s collections vaults with Mr. John Corneil, followed by a session on document preservation and conversation with the Museum’s archivist, Ms. Carol Reid. In the afternoon, participants have the choice of a seminar on collecting and recording oral histories with Dr. Amber Lloydlangston, or a session on preservation and conversation of firearms with Mr. Jason Ginn.
