June weekends– 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Camouflage has moved from the battlefield to the runway. Show off your inner designer by creating paper doll fashions.

Fashion Show: Camouflage: From Battlefield to Catwalk
Friday, June 4
7 p.m. Camouflage exhibition opens
8:30 p.m. — Fashion show begins
The Canadian War Museum has worked with local high schools and colleges to organize an event created by youth for youth. Taking inspiration from the Camouflageexhibition, the students have been asked to create an original design for the fashion show. Each design is the student’s personal interpretation of how they see camouflage in the world around them. Each garment has been designed and constructed by the students.
The participating students come from the following schools:
Canterbury High School
École secondaire publique De La Salle
Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion Design

Join Rénald Fortier, Curator of Aviation History at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, for an insightful overview of the approaches taken by various air forces during the twentieth century to conceal their aircraft from the eyes of their opponents. In French only. Barney Danson Theatre
