Operation Santa Claus at the Canadian War Museum

Ottawa, Ontario, November 29, 2005 — The Canadian War Museum (CWM), in partnership with Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency, is pleased to host Operation Santa Claus every day from Thursday December 1 to Sunday December 4, during the Museum’s regular visiting hours.

Everyone in the region is invited to come to the CWM to send their Holiday greetings to Canadian Forces (CF) personnel serving overseas, including those who will spend the Holidays season in Afghanistan.

Visitors will be able to write and send the troops personalized Holiday greetings and sign large banners at stations installed in the CWM’s Lobby.

Additionally, on Saturday, December 3, a number of serving CF personnel will be on hand to discuss with visitors their experiences during missions like the one in Afghanistan.
