Canadian War Museum Book Club: Liane Faulder with Paul Franklin

Ottawa, Ontario, January 11, 2008 — On Thursday, January 24, 2008, the Canadian War Museum is pleased to present an evening with journalist Liane Faulder, author of the book The Long Walk Home: Paul Franklin’s Journey From Afghanistan. Ms. Faulder will be accompanied by the subject of the book, MCpl Paul Franklin, who lost both legs in a 2006 suicide bombing in Afghanistan, and who is featured in the Museum’s current special exhibition, Afghanistan: A Glimpse of War.

The CWM Book Club is an opportunity for participants to spend an intimate and informal evening discussing recent books with their authors. The admission fee includes wine and cheese.
