Family Activity: Now You See It — Now You Don’t!
Daily from July 1 to 11 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Be a magician and create an optical illusion using string, cardboard and your imagination.

Concert: Follow that Beat!
July 1 1 p.m.
Celebrate Canada Day on July 1 with Heritage Hands Ottawa Drum Club. You will be tapping your feet and moving to the rhythms of this great group of percussionists.

Concert: Coastal Sound Children’s Choir
July 4 1:30 p.m.
Join us for a concert by the Coastal Sound Children’s Choir. This group of young singers from Coquitlam, B.C., will perform a concert entitled Notes and Letters, inspired by the personal letters of men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Soldiers use footprint decoys to throw enemies off theirtrail. Put your crafty skills to the test and make your own fake footprint.

Daily from July 16 to August 8 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
D-Day Deceptions! To deceive the Germans before the invasion of Normandy in the Second World War, Allies dropped paratrooper dummies, known as “Rupert,” from airplanes. Make your own miniature “Rupert” using common household materials.
