Quebec City Militia Officer’s Coat

This uniform belonged to an officer of the 3rd Battalion, Quebec City Militia, which served alongside British regulars as part of the city’s garrison. The “1775” on the buttons commemorates the battalion’s previous service defending Quebec during the American Revolution.
